When it comes to DIY and me it is a very skewed scale. Lots of ambition and a very little amount of time to actually do it. Don’t get me wrong, I will roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty for a good DIY that I need for a space/client. But, when it comes to decorating, partying, and beautifying using DIY’s for anything that is absolutely not a necessity in my life then they just get pinned and saved, with high hopes that come next year I will have a bit more time to get my inner Martha Stewart on.
So – for those of you that have as little spare time as I do these DIY pumpkins I spotted over at Little Peanut Mag are the perfect fit. I am just wishing that I would have thought of these first. High impact – low work… my kinda DIY. Kudos to you “Ms. Little Peanut Mag” for coming up with such a clever and easy way to decorate for the holidays that are fast approaching.
Now let’s get into it:
The supplies are simple. Crayons, Glue and a Hairdryer
It really is as easy as it looks, unwrap the crayons, glue them to the pumpkin and turn that hairdryer on high heat.
Not mad about it.
And for those of you with even less ambition, patience, or creativity, you could get the same look by dry brushing on some leftover paint to the tops of your pumpkins. Now excuse me while I go and try and figure out my costume for a Halloween party that I have to attend tomorrow. xx
