Dark and Moody was once reserved for the quiet kids that sat in the corner of the cafeteria and never seemed to eat or drink but somehow always seemed to be there, but fortunately for the interior design movement it has transcended from the cafeteria to the living room and gained some class on it’s way.
After the big move to my new apartment (cue the choir of angels), I began to really let the inspiration that i shuffle through everyday on pinterest seep a little bit further than just through my wandering little eyes. The fact that I finally had my own apartment became a reality, and the fact that I could actually do something with it to make it mine became my new past time. Granted I rifle through inspiring images everyday and from those I am able to pull together mood boards, inspiration boards, and any other boards that the client requests, but when it comes to your own home it seems to be harder than ever to decide on a plan. So, until I lay something down on paper, lets just shut me up and enjoy these beautiful moody and dark living rooms.
