Dear Lord… I stumbled into this home tour the other night which was featured on Est Living (one of my favorite places for inspiration) and I had to collect myself up off the floor. Minimal meets masculine, simple meets layered, and just about everything good in between.
The stunning space was designed by the insanely talented NS Architects and photographed by Thomas de Bruyne and Claessens & Deschamps, and to say that I am very much into it would be an understatement. Originally built in the 1800’s in Antwerp it now has been repurposed and reimagined as a weekend home for a Fashion Executive who works primarily in Paris. Someone please find out who this “Fashion Exec” is and let me know because I want to find out when I can move in.
From the herringbone floors to the white washed walls, just about every detail was considered and thought through.
Ugh, and the kitchen. THE KITCHEN. I can’t figure out if all the cabinet doors are made out the same marble as the countertop and backsplash but if in fact they are then genius move Mr. NS Architects.
I can’t with this space. Every room seems to get better and better and the details really are incredible. No need for fancy adornments, decorative area rugs, excessive accessories, or props. The Neutral decor pretty much does all the talking and knows how to talk quite well if I do say so myself. There are no mistakes happening in the decor (click through to see the ones everyone else is committing on the regular), and I am so inspired by it.
And in case you aren’t in the position to have a weekend home like this in Antwerp, i’ve pulled together a few of my favorite simple accessories from HM Home that all come in at under $50 for us millennials that continue to waste our money on Avocado Toast and Boba’s instead of putting it into savings.
