When the weather is nice (thank you SoCal), the birds are chirping, and I have a free morning why not take a casual stroll through the neighborhood. Its tragic to say that this is the first time that I have actually walked through the neighborhood since I moved to brentwood towards the beginning of this year. But, with full time work, full time school, and the looming words of every californian in my head (don’t walk…. drive) I had yet to set my own two feet on the pavement.
But… a casual stroll is far too boring for me when my mind is all over the map so I made it a bit more interesting and decided that since I was missing some fresh flowers this week why not pick them! I got a few odd looks as people saw me casually walking along clipping branches here, or plants there, but in the end I wound up with quite a few beautiful clippings and I figured I was doing the homeowners a favor as they wouldn’t have to call the landscaper this week to come trim up the hedges. Why pay when you can just clip and run away!
